Code Enforcement 101

This notice was posted on the front door of an unsightly residence in Springdale on May 9, 2011.  I took the picture nearly a month later on June 7. The notice was faded from having been hanging in the sun for so long, but nothing on this property had been cleaned up.

How long does it take Springdale's Code Enforcement officers to follow up?

Get someone out there to clean it up, and send the owners the bill.  If that doesn't work, slap a lien on the property. What are you waiting for? A bonus from the mayor, perhaps?

Stay tuned for a series of photos relating to code violations taken in and around the fine city of Springdale...  for your viewing pleasure.

  1. I went by this place today and the only thing that has been done is the violation notice has been pulled off the front window.
Why is Dan Snow, the chief code officer not being held accountable for this mess? He must have driven by this place more than once since your article was posted. He needs to be replaced with someone that will take care of business. Snow's boss Michael Chamlee should also be held accountable, he is Snow's boss. The city is looking worse by the day. Lets get something done.

  2. This is CITY wide. They are accountable to no one. Maybe the City should buy us some blinders and add prozack to our water system. It apparently works for the Mayor.
