The Springdale Planning Commission voted unanimously (9-0) to approve conditional use of the property located at 406 E. Emma Avenue to allow Ozark Electric Cooperative to erect a 66 foot communication tower.The tower is not necessary for emergency communications but is planned to serve as a backup or duplicate of an existing dispatch center.
It's now in the hands of the city council who will vote on Tuesday, March 23.
Is this what residents and business owners have been working so hard on to revitalize downtown Springdale?
