The money was in memory of Perry's mother and I think he should have written his own check to honor it.

ReplyDeleteI keep seeing "tax dollars" on here in relation to the trips. Just so you stupid people know, the percentages that the volunteers received was NOT TAX DOLLARS!!!! Whenever they sold sponsorships, the 15% came from that money...the money the sponsors donated, you morons!!! To spell it out for you, since it's obvious from your blog and comments that you can't figure things out on your own, if someone sponsored say $2000.00, then $300.00 came out of that money and went to the person who got the sponsorship. You know, since you people have all this so called "proof" of improprieties, then call John Threet and prosecute the Chamber and Perry Webb. All you're doing right now is flapping your jaws and showing your stupidity.

How about showing us your 1099. Or does the IRS consider you paid volunteers a special breed with no accountablity. A 1099 would go a long way with us stupid people here in Springdale. And yes it is taxpayers money.... Remember it was just to hard for you to open a separate account to for our money.

And I want to see proof that you know "damned well". Did you know that several of these "pigs" give more money to the community than you probably make in a year??? And did you know that Moore gave $5000.00 of his own money to the Chamber??? So kiss my ass!!!

Personally, I've never received money from the Chamber, I just know people well that have. So it's not MY 1099 you should worry about. You should call the Chamber and get a schedule of Moore's giving...it's huge, I'm sure. But wait, finding the truth is not what you idiots are interested in. Again, just flapping your jaws.

Yes, having a big salary does seem to matter in this blog, because you're all the time saying that these "pigs" don't do anything for the city of Springdale. It would be one thing if they were taking Chamber, or, excuse me, "taxpayer" money and taking trips on it (which, by the way, they aren't) and only that. But they don't. They give to better Springdale. So quit talking out of both sides of your mouths. Either they do help or they don't..which is it?? I want to see YOUR contributions to help with our "poor" economic development.

If you had been decent people truly seeking the answers to these issues to better understand the situation and asked for that in the first place, I'm sure Mr. "To Better Springdale" would have been more than pleased to do so. Name calling doesn't solve anything. It isn't ethical to take a percentage of fund raising as compensation. An esteemed vountary position has been taken advantage of. When people in surrounding cities call S-dale a "black eye" in the community, it looks like everyone would want to work together in raising the bar/standard to make it a better place.

People have become so calloused where they don't know what's right or wrong anymore...where compensation for volunteerism is ok, where War is Peace....looks Orwellian.
